Thanks so much Jojoba. I am so glad you are coming to Sydney! You will adore the David Jones in the city! Plus, no Make Up For Ever!! Mecca Cosmetica (it is in David Jones) used to stock it but now this is available only from one Melbourne online store... and this foundation is $75 Australian!! I know you have a great collection but bear this in mind and possibly stock up as I know you love Make Up For Ever!

BV: Thanks for your compliment. As for F& B, yes and no. Well, our local MUFE doesn't carry many shades of that product for some reason. None of the colours work for me. I was tested #20 when I visited Hong Kong some year back. That #20 is still not available here till this day. The only thing I know is that F & B is very buildable, from sheer to heavy and is good for oily skin. Therefore, I don't think I'd purchase it since I have dry skin.

I might just go swatch those miserable amount of colours one of these days! Cheers.

Just wondered, have you ever used the MUFE Face and Body foundation? I want to try it but I fear it isn't enough coverage for me - you are so lucky to have the beautiful skin you do!!!!!!!

Corren: I did like Mat Velvet+ but it's too matte for my dry skin. HD is oil free so you really could give it a try. I only read that some people with oil skin can't wear it but they didn't explain how and why. My guess is it slipps off since they are so oily. If you could ask for a sample, it will be the best way to go. And I do it works for you.

Hey there! Thanks for such a detailed review! I'm a great fan of MUFE and have been using the Mat Velvet+ foundation for the longest time! However, recently I found that it no longer sufficiently covers my acne scars as well as I like. :( So, I might give this HD foundation a try. However, you said that it might not be suitable for people with very oily skin. I was wondering why? Will it cake on oily skin?
