719 Silk Satin is in the Rouge Dior Satin Collection. Information of the collection is here, http://www.i-love-dior.jp/shared/swf/new_window/rougedior/top.html
:)
Shannen: Thank you very much! I am adding this to the post! :)
Shannen: is it this year or 2007? I noticed the copyright date on the site is 2007 And is (was) it Japan only? Thanks a lot!
It's this year. The main page of the site is here, http://www.i-love-dior.jp/shared/index.html
They always have the first hand information of Dior.
I just received a mail from Saks and they claim the Satin Collection is their exclusive. Therefore this collection is available in US. But I'm not sure the items in the colleciton are the same as Japan. Hope this helps~ :)
Shannen: So stupid of me! I should have checked that! Thank you very much again!
I hope it's available here too. Whther I like it our not, I will love to try it!
I looked through reviews at the Japanese site cosme.net, and they mention the following additional colors:
* Frosted Aquarelle 209 (2007 Summer LE in Japan)
* Earth Frost 709 (? アース フロスト)
* Lovely Pink 819 (part of a LE coffret from March 2008 in Japan)
Pink May 909 appears to have been a Spring 2008 LE release in Japan.
kuir: Thank you very much for translating that for me! I am adding them to the list.
HUGS!
kuri: but Pink May 909 was available to the US market as one member from MUA told me that she bought it and returned because of its shimmers?
Hi! I didn't mean to contradict the Pink May info for the U.S., I just meant to add that it was also released in Japan. All of my info was for the Japanese market.
kuri: thanks for clearing that up for me so fast! :)))
*Dior should do something about its LE stuff. It's so unfair that many stuff are Japan only...
Glad the info came in handy. I really enjoy reading your detailed reviews. I'm always on the lookout for pigmented products, especially lip products (not that I need any more though...). And I was especially interested in your Cle de Peau reviews.
Hee, I was looking forward to your comments :)
Yeah, the LE thing is really annoying, even though it's very successful.
If you ever want anything, let me know! I am on an indefinite no buy, so buying for other people is the only fun I can have for a while :P
kuri: I am getting another Cle de Peau eye shadow quad soon! I hope I will like it. It's a neutral quad though. HAHAHA. I may get a colourful quad later since it has so many!!!
kuri: thanks for the offering. I will let you know if I need help!
I hope you like the new quad too! It has a lot to live up to.
Sure, anytime!
Unfortunately Pink May 909 was sold out in the US when I wanted it. After scouring really long and hard for it, I was astonished to find Pink May on an American website and immediately purchased it. When I received it in the mail, I realized it was shipped from Hong Kong. So I have reason to believe that it was released in Hong Kong as well Japan. (I know for certain that Pink May was released in Japan as I saw many ads in Biteki and Voce in the spring publications.) I may be wrong but it also appears that the palette was released in Singapore too since I saw a bunch Pink May on ebay auctions for an unjustifiable price (~$80+ USD).
Novalicious: OMG! I didn't see your reply. Thank you so much for the update. I really appreciate it. I always welcome readers to come forward to add missing information and to correct any errors I've made.
Thanks again!
