After my success with BeneFit Dandelion and Georgia, I was very interested in BeneFit Face Powders. Then along came 10, and I just had to try it out in person. I was a bit wary of its having 2 shades in one square compact -- workable shades & difficulty in application.
My worry was killed when I tested it. The light pink is a natural blush and highlighter in one for my colouring and the bronze shade is great for sculpting the hollow of the cheekbones. 10 became an instant love and it is still a favourite of mine till this day.
Taken from Sephora:
"BeneFit 10 is a bronzing & highlighting face powder duo.
What it is formulated to perform
Bronze and highlight in one sexy sweep for a supermodel glow. This satiny pink and bronze powders give you sleek, sculpted cheekbones. Simply sweep (don't swirl!) your brush over the dual powder and apply to cheekbones - highlighter on top, bronzer on bottom and…Voila, you're a perfect 10!" (Please refer to "Packaging/Price" below.)
Colors & Texture:
There are a satiny light pink sheen and a shimmery bronze . These 2 shades are very light especially the pale pink. The bronze shade may appear dark in the pan but applied fairly light and shimmery. The texture is very silky and soft but not as powdery as Gerorgia. Compared to other BeneFit Face powders (Dandelion/Georgia/Dallas/Thrrrob), 10 has the best texture in my opinion as it's most silky and smooth to the touch.

Scent:
I was told that each benefit face powder has a different light fragrance, I don’t know about the specific scent of this as I store all 4 together and now they all smelt the same to me! (I do know that Georgia had a distinct peach scent when I first bought it but it is no longer very peachy now. Anyway, this new mixed scent of the Benefit face powders I have is quite pleasant and I don't mind it one bit.)
Packaging & Price:
It comes in a square cardboard box like that of Dandelion. It also includes a brush in the shape of a bloom and the size of the box for the application. The brush is not useful for me so I have stored it away. (The bristles of the brush are very soft to the touch. I did like this same brush in other BeneFit face powders but this is a duo and the brush of that size and shape make it cumbersome.) I find it difficult to "simply sweep" the two shades as suggested on Sephora. I have to do one colour at a time. One other pet peeve I have is the cardboard packaging. However, my experience with Dandelion leads me to believe the packaging of 10 will be equally as sturdy and durable even thought I am not fond of its tacky design. This is priced at 129 MYR in Malaysia which is quite expensive but I consider it acceptable because of its decent size (10 g./0.35 oz). (NOTE: 10 is only 26USD in the USA! And I reckon that is a great price for the big amount.)
My Experience:
I find this powder very useful and really compliments my skin tone. It makes my skin glow without adding too much color. I am not good at using the brush included so I use my other blush/powder brush instead. It is a lot easier for me to do one colour at a time – highlighting upper cheekbone areas than contouring with the bronze powder on the hollows below. I am fond of its quiet showy effect. This is something that I slowly learn to appreciate as I age. This is definitely a repurchase product for me in the future.

Oooh, I likey!
Yeah, the only downside to me is the crappy packaging. My HG highlighter, from bourjois, also comes in a paper box. I've tried to subsitute it for other products with pretty cases, but I always go back to it... sigh.
Well, at least this packaging is more environmental friendly.
Btw, kudos for the look! It's so refreshing to see someone wear makeup in a subtle way like you do. Most girls go crazy for stuff like MAC and end up looking like drag queens.
victoria: many people think that using MAC or MUFE will end up a clown face. (Seriously, this was a comment from a close friend.) I said, it depends on how you utilize the makeup you own. If I wish to look like a drag queen, I could! LOL.
Thanks for your kind remarks, nevertheless.
Hey, I know what you mean. I have some MUFE and MAC items, myself. It's just that the fans of these brands buy the pigments in the loudest colors and use them like paint on their faces. Unless it's carnival or halloween, I don't think it's a cool look. Like you said, it's all about subtlety.
That looks really nice on you! I just ordered Georgia, so I can't wait to play with that first. Then maybe 10 will be next...heh!
wow.I love this, you look great on it :)
vitoria: thanks again. i always consider makeup is to MAKE UP what we don't have instead. :)
mowpea: I think we both recently ordered some BeneFit products and can't wait for them to arrive! I got another LE Silky-Finish Lipstick and a Cream eye shadow that I have been thinking to try.
askmewhats: Thanks a lot!
